Join us for the annual ACE Manager/Supervisor Workshop.  The 2013 workshop will cover three segments: 

• Creating Dashboards—Hear from two managers who have created administrative dashboards for reporting their department statistics. You will learn how to identify what is important to your boss and also how to present your most important statistics in a meaningful dashboard to share with your boss and the C-suite.  
• Enabling Interoperability with HL7—As the healthcare industry moves toward greater interoperability among organizations and information systems, transcription managers need to have knowledge about systems integration and how HL7 is used to move data and
  documentation from one system to another.  This presentation will introduce the basics of the HL7 standards for healthcare interoperability and how they apply to medical transcription.
• Leading Your Team through Change—Adapting to change is a matter of attitude and the adjustment of established values to new situations. Values, both those of individuals and the organization itself, should provide some guidelines for dealing with change. Greater understanding of the resistance to change, the transition process, and recognition that
  change causes stress will assist in the management of change.
